Studying singing as a youngster, I’ve always had an interest in the voice. My music listening experience has been eclectic over the years.
Working with so many musicians, performing artists and entertainers over my working life has given me freedom to express myself in so many different ways.
This has helped me gain knowledge in a wide range of musical areas and styles.
I am passionate about passing this on to the new generations and helping people to achieve their goals.

Coaching Method

The Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) teaches you how to understand the voice as a whole, teaching from the perspective of the singer.

“Cause & Effect” – using unfinished sounds with vocalises to build an equilibrium through our passages.
Connecting and creating a foundation for the vocal balance. Thus giving the singer the ability to control their voices while singing any style of music. Allowing them to sound free and natural.

A singer should be able to access all dynamic levels in their voice without straining, cracking, or breaking.

The techniques used in this method of coaching help singers to truly use their voice and realise their full potential. Students can progress quickly to be able to express themselves as they choose to through song.
